-I recommend showering the morning after your appointment, but if you need to shower the same day, just make sure to wait at least 12 hours.

-Until you shower, do not:

                -Work out or get sweaty

                -Get water on your skin

                -Apply lotion or make up

-Scratch (pat if you have an itch)

-It's okay to wear a bra and shoes, but try to take them off when you get home.

-Once you shower, you can return to your normal way of living!

-Use mild cleansers when showering and mild moisturizers (Aveeno, Dove, Jergens) nothing too heavily fragranced (Bath & Body Works) as those products usually have lots of skin drying ingredients. They will dry out the airbrush and make it fade faster.

-The key to making your airbrush last the longest is to moisturize! Keep your skin hydrated so it exfoliates the tan off slowly.

Before your airbrush appointment...

-Try to shave and exfoliate the night before if possible (especially if you have dry skin) then lotion up right after.
-Shower on the day of your airbrush appointment and keep your skin clean with no lotions or skin cremes, serums, etc. (make up is okay).
-Do not use bar soaps prior to your sunless tan, they can leave a film and unbalance your skin's PH levels and prohibit it from penetrating your skin.
-*Important* If you use a daily self tanner or have gotten a spray tan recently, make sure it has completed faded off your skin. If there is some still on your skin, it may interact with my airbrush solution and turn orange.
-Please let me know if you have recently gotten a sunburn, have started to peel or expect to peel soon and/or have just recently healed from the burn/peeling. I would strongly recommend not getting sprayed until your skin has fully recovered and is back to normal with zero peeling/flaky skin. The tan may not adhere to those burned areas while soaking up really well to the dry, flaky skin causing a splotchy tan.
-Wear dark, loose fitting clothing to your appointment and be prepared not to shower until the next day.
-Make sure to be drinking lots of water and moisturizing your skin everyday before your airbrush. This is very important! You want your skin to be as moisturized as possible before you get sprayed, just be sure not to moisturize the day of your session.
-The airbrush solution may rub off on your sheets while you're sleeping. It will wash out if so. Some other ideas are using an old sheet, wearing long pants/shirt or laying down towels/blanket and sleeping on that.
-A lot of my clients choose to not wear anything during the session. If you would like to wear something, I recommend a dark bathing suit or dark bra/underwear that you aren't worried about getting the airbrush solution on. The solution washes out of everything in my experience with it, but just in case!
