There is a 10 day healing period:

-Right after your treatment, clean your brows every couple hours until you go to sleep with water and mild soap (Cerave, Dove, baby shampoo/wash). Apply aftercare ointment every time after washing. Continue cleaning brows 3-5 times per day and applying aftercare ointment right after for 10 days. You need only a tiny bit of ointment, don't overdo it.

-No tanning beds, excessive sweating in the gym, no make up on brow area, anti-aging/retinol creams on the brow area for at least 10 days. It is best to allow the brow to heal first before using any of the above.
-No rubbing, no picking. The treated area might feel a little ticklish during the first phase of the recovering process. It is important not to rub it as the area could get infected if not handled properly. Peeling is absolutely normal during the second phase of recovery; avoid any sort of peeling of dry skin as you might peel out the wrong parts and create bald spots in your newly reconstructed brow.
-Keep your hair away from your face. This means avoid putting your bangs over brows for at least 10 days as this could cause infection/irritation.
-Entire healing process will take from 4 to 6 weeks depending on your body’s regeneration, age, immune system and lifestyle. Sometimes after microblading customers develop dry, flaky skin. It is very important not to rub, pick or peel off your flakes or scabs. Itching is absolutely normal as skin is repairing itself. Never rub the treated area as it will disturb the skin from it's natural healing process. If you get your brow wet at the beginning of recovery, simply dry it with lint free tissue. The way you take care of your new brow after microblading will have a great impact on the way it looks. Improper care often results in fading or “patchy” brows.

NOTE: Because of natural skin regeneration, after the recovery period your brows might appear lighter than original. Often, even with proper care, customers develop bald spots or loose original hairstrokes which makes brows look uneven. It is absolutely normal because your natural skin regeneration is not a process that the technician can control. That’s why most customers need a touch up after 1 month to ensure the brows are perfectly even and the desired effect was achieved.

AFTER YOUR MICROBLADING APPOINTMENT...

-Prior to your Microblading appointment, think about the look that you wish to achieve. As an eyebrow expert, I ensure that the correct colors and styles are chosen for you, however you are part of the decision-making process.
-Microblading is a 2 part process, normally requiring an initial application followed by a touch-up session. To achieve the best results, it is highly recommended to return for at least one 'Perfecting Session' (touch-up) procedure 4 to 6 weeks after the initial application.
-Be prepared for the color intensity to be significantly sharper and darker immediately after the procedure. This will subside and become lighter/softer as the skin heals. This process can take up to 14 days.
-Since delicate skin or sensitive areas may be swollen or red, you may not want to make social plans on the day of your appointment.
-Please wear your normal make-up to your appointment.

-Let eyebrows grow, the hairier the better when you show up to your appointment.
-Do not take aspirin or Ibuprofen 2 days prior to and after your appointment.
-Do not discontinue any medication before consulting your doctor.
-Keep alcohol intake to a minimum 2 days prior to and after your appointment.
-A sensitivity test will be performed unless waived upon request.
-Do not use Retin-A skincare products 1 month prior to and after your procedure.
-Chemical peels and Botox/fillers should be done 3 weeks before or 3 weeks after your Microblading treatment.
-Waxing treatments should be performed no less than 3 days prior to your enhancement.
-IPL laser hair removal/Electrolysis treatments should be performed no less than 2 weeks prior to your enhancement.

-Must be off Accutane for 1 year.

-Not recommending for pregnant women. Breastfeeding women may get Microblading, just not the topical numbing cream.
